Rob de Wijk will take part, as a panellist, in this year’s Annual Baltic Conference on Defence (ABCD). The conference will be held in Tallinn, Estonia, on Thursday 20 September. The theme will be Europe’s security and defence policies in a time of change.

Rob de Wijk is the director of HCSS. He studied Contemporary History and International Relations in Groningen, and wrote his PhD dissertation on NATO’s ‘Flexibility in Response’ strategy at the Political Science Department of Leiden University.

On September 12, HCSS will be visited by a team from the Centre of Excellence for National Security, a research unit of the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
