A recent governmental reshuffle in Saudi Arabia has seen Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MbS) consolidate his grip on the kingdom. His Vision 2030 plan to rid Saudi Arabia from its high dependence on oil is ambitious to say the least. In his drive to modernise the kingdom MbS is likely to make a lot of internal enemies, say Sijbren de Jong (HCSS) and Cyril Wddershoven (MEA Risks).
