Almost 95 % of total energy use in European transportation is fueled by oil. European countries are seeking new alternatives to reduce this high dependency on oil in transportation.
One such alternative could be Liquefied natural gas, or LNG. Anadolu News Agency from Turkey interviewed Sijbren de Jong (HCSS) and Cyril Widdershoven (TNO), together with several other experts on the potential for LNG use in road transport in Europe.
