A wide body of scientific literature has analyzed the consequences of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people serving in armed forces and during international operations. HCSS aims to take stock of what we know about the potential risks and opportunities presented by an inclusive approach to LGBT service members.
HCSS will spearhead the future debate on on LGBT military service in an innovative new study, which will assess the challenges faced by LGBT individuals in armed forces around the world.
